Sharing knowledge about cancer of Prof. Young-Joon Surh, Seoul National University, Korea
On the afternoon of February 8th, 2023, within the framework of cooperation between Seoul National University, Korea and Hanoi University of Pharmacy, on the occasion of a working visit to Hanoi, Prof. Dr. Young-Joon Surh, Seoul National University visited and had a science symposium to staff, lecturers and students of HUP.
Attending the event with the theme: From Chimney Sweeps to Oncogenes: Perspectives on the History of Cancer Research, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phung Thanh Huong - Dean of Faculty of Biotechnology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lap; MSc. Nguyen Phi Toan, Dean of Faculty of Biotechnology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Quyen, Head of Department of Science Technology - Cooperation Development; MSc. Dinh Thi Hien Van, Deputy Head of Department of Science Technology - Cooperation Development, MSc. Nguyen Thi Linh Ha, Dept. of Science Technology - Cooperation Development and nearly 90 teachers representing a number of faculty, departments and students of HUP. The event took place in a lively discussion atmosphere. Many useful questions related to research and application of biochemistry and molecular biology in cancer prevention and treatment were raised by interested teachers and were answered by Prof. Surh satisfactorily.
A useful and interesting knowledge sharing session by Prof. Young-Joon Surh, under the coordination between the Faculty of Biotechnology and the Dept. of Science technology - Cooperation Development has been successfully organized and hopes that many scientific research and international cooperation opportunities will be implemented in the future.
