Meeting with the delegation of Taipei Medical University, Taiwan
Under the cooperation framework between Hanoi University of Pharmacy and Taiwan universities, the delegates of the Taipei Medical University, Taiwan headed by Prof.Chieh-Hsi Wu, Head of College of Pharmacy, Taipei Medical University and Ms Lam Thi Minh Thao, staff of S&T Division, TECO in Ha noi had an official visit to HUP in the afternoon of 14 March 2016. The visit aimed at seeking opportunities for collaboration with Hanoi University of Pharmacy in lecturers and students exchange, scientific research and interviewing applicants for MSc/PhD course.
The meeting was held with the attendance of Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Dang Hoa- HUP’s Rector, Head of International Relations Department, Head of Science Management Department and officer of International Relations Department
After listening to presentation on overview and activities of each university related to fields of scientific research, and exchange of students, both two sides discussed and agreed together to promote bilateral cooperation in scientific research, exchange of lecturers/students and scientific research. Prof. Chieh said that College of Pharmacy, TMU is interested in resources of medicinal plants in Vietnam and he also expressed his wish to develop this bilateral research project. As a conclusion of the meeting, two sides agreed to promote the Memorandum of Understanding to provide a basis to facilitate lecturer and student exchange program and training & research activities. Two HUP applicants successfully passed TMU's interview and were granted the Admission Letter. They are now continuing to complete the process for enrollment in TMU in academic year 2016 in time.
