Meeting with Chong Kun Dang Kochon Foundation, Korea

In the morning of 25 June 2014, the delegation of Chong Kun Dang Co. Kochon Foundation & Chong Kun Dang Pharmaceutical Corp.. headed by Mr Yung Woo Kim, Vice President in Korea paid a working visit to Hanoi University of Pharmacy in order to discuss the contents related to the program corporate scholarships to HUP students as well as seeking opportunities for collaboration in scientific researches with Hanoi University of Pharmacy.​​

​The meeting was held with the attendance of Prof. Thai Nguyen Hung Thu- HUP’s Vice Retor, Head of Departments of Student Management, Department of Graduate and International Relations Department.

Chong Kun Dang Pharmaceutical Corp. (CKD) is a pharmaceutical company. It manufactures, distributes, imports and exports bulk drugs, prescription drugs, over the counter (OTC) medicines and other products including vitamins, shampoo, hair colors, aerosols, mat vaporizers, and mosquito coils, among others. The company through its research and development (R&D) center, Central Research Laboratory undertakes the pharmaceutical research, chemical research and new drug development in the areas of oncology, immunology, cardiovascular, metabolic disease, infectious, central nervous system, and respiratory diseases. CKD exports its products to various countries in Europe, North America, and Asia. CKD is headquartered in Seoul, Korea.The discussion focused on the concerned matters consists of 

1. to discuss the requirements and selection criteria for the scholarship to promising HUP students.

2.to propose a plan for Award Ceremony. 

3. to seek the cooperation and exchange programs for the research scientists, lecturers and students.
