2. Establishment and Development
The Faculty of Basic Sciences was officially established under Decision No. 489/QĐ-DHN dated June 23, 2022, following the reorganization of the following units:
- Department of General and Inorganic Chemistry
- Department of Marxism–Leninism
- Department of Foreign Languages
- Department of Physical Education
- Department of National Defense Education
- Department of Mathematics and Informatics
- Department of Physics (from the former Department of Physics and Physical Chemistry)
At present, the Faculty comprises seven departments:
- Department of General and Inorganic Chemistry
- Department of Political Theory
- Department of Foreign Languages
- Department of Physical Education
- Department of National Defense Education
- Department of Mathematics and Informatics
- Department of Physics
