Faculty of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology
The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Chemistry is an academic unit of Hanoi University of Pharmacy. It was officially established on June 23, 2022 (Decision No. 483/QD-DHN) by reorganizing three departments: Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Pharmaceutical and Extraction Engineering. The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology is a specialized unit with the function of organizing and implementing the tasks of managing civil servants, employees, and training at undergraduate and postgraduate levels; organizing scientific research, technology transfer, and professional consulting.
Currently, the Faculty has 30 staff members, including 23 lecturers (19 full-time lecturers and 4 part-time lecturers) and 7 technicians. With highly qualified personnel, the Faculty has 1 professor, 9 associate professors (1 distinguished teacher), 8 PhDs, and 5 MScs. The faculty aims to develop pharmaceutical chemistry, including the synthesis of pharmaceutical raw materials, research and development of new drugs, and related fields.
