The delegation of Hanoi University of Pharmacy participating to 2017 Graduation Thesis Presentation at Kyoto Pharmaceutical University, Japan.
Receiving the invitation of Kyoto Pharmaceutical University (KPU), Japan, from June 25th to June 29th, 2017, a delegation of Ha Noi University of Pharmacy headed by Assoc.Prof. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai accompanied by student Pham Thi Thu Huyen (Class N1K67) and student Bui Thi Phuong Anh (Class M2K67) participated in 2017 Graduation Thesis Presentation at KPU.
KPU is among the top medical universities in Japan with a history spanning over 130 years. In the academic year 2016-2017, KUP had 2,232 undergraduate students and 56 research students (including 11 foreign research students). The academic program at KPU consists of 6 years, in which 4 of the 6 years are spent for orientation training so that students can become Doctor of Pharmacy (90%) or Doctor of Pharmaceutical science (10%) depending on their wishes. According to an independent survey of DODA, KPU is holding the highest rate of employed graduates with a decent income.
Joining the Graduation Thesis Presentation of KPU, HUP delegation had an overview of management organization structure and research methods of not only KPU but also other prestigious pharmacy universities from the USA, Taiwan, German and India as well.
Out of the official agenda of the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai also had the meeting with Prof. Naomasa - President of KPU to discuss about the training programs as well as the main research approaches of HUP and to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between HUP and KPU.
The successful working visit has achieved its goals to help HUP gain lots of useful and precious information on training and researching, thus open up new opportunities for cooperation between the two universities in various fields in the future. President of KUP would like to continue to invite HUP's outstanding lecturers/students to attend the annual Graduation Thesis Presentation and step by step to establish stable relationships between the two universities in all areas of cooperation.
