The Annual Staff Meeting in 2013
On 26th December 2013, at Lecture Hall No12, in collaboration with the Trade Union Committee, the University Directorate Board held the Annual Staff meeting (Year 2013). Attending the meeting, on the university side, were the members of the Party Committee, the Directorate Board, the Trade Union Committee, the People's Inspection Board as well as all the staff. On the guest side, there was Mr. Nguyen Xuan Lang - Vice-President of Vietnam National Trade Union of Health Workers.
At the meeting, the brief report on achievements attained in 2013 as well as the orientation and tasks assigned for 2014 were delivered. Besides, a report evaluating implementation of the 2012 annual staff meeting resolution, a report on the People's Inspectorate activities (period 2011-2013), a colection of comments from various departments and units and four discussion papers were also presented.
With a constructive spirit for the university development, there were 77 comments proposing the solutions to overcome the shortcomings in the training tasks as well as to improve the staff’ living standards. The directorate board's direct replies to these comments have helped the staff well understand the real situation and recognize the overall achievement gained last year. Sincere attitude of the directorate board and reasonable replies have consented everybody.
On behalf of the Trade Union at high level, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Lang - Vice President congratulated Hanoi University of Pharmacy and the Trade Union of the university on the achievement gained in 2013 and expected the University to promote the strength and overcome the shortcomings for the university development.
At the meeting, some departments and individuals to receive the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit were announced and rewarded, including the Department of Pharmaceutical Industry, the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, the Department of Foreign Languages, the Department of Analytical Chemistry and Toxicology, the General Administration. Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Vice Rector and Asso.Prof.,Dr. Dinh Thanh Hai - Head of Organic Chemistry Department were also rewarded the Certificate.
The meeting also carried out a vote for the People's Inspection Board (term 2013-2015) and the title of Emulation Soldier at ministry level. Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuyen - Head of Office of Testing and Quality Assurance, Mrs. Pham Thi Thuy Van - Deputy Head of Clinical Pharmacy Department, Mr. Pham Tien Thanh - Technician of Department of Pharmaceutical Industry were elected as members of the People's Inspection Committee. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Ms. Dinh Thi Thanh Hai, Mr. Nguyen Hai Nam, Ms. Pham Thi Minh Hue, Ms. Pham Thi Hoa, Ms. Dinh Thi Hien Van were voted and proposed to the Committee for Emulation/Recommendation and Compensation to reward the title of Emulation Soldier at ministry level.
In a democratic and strict atmosphere, the meeting has highly approved on the report2013, the orientation and tasks assigned for 2014. Ending the meeting, Asso.Prof.,Dr. Nguyen Dang Hoa - Secretary of Party Committee, Rector encouraged all staff to promote the tradition of Hero Unit and strive to complete successfully the tasks assigned for 2014.
