Meeting with Changhua Christina Hospital and Representatives of Van Thuong Group, Taiwan

On September 28th, 2019, Mr. Tien Min Chan, Vice Chairman of Changhua Christina Hospital, along with his colleagues and PhD. Phuong Khuong, representative of Van Thuong Group, Taiwan, paid a courtesy visit With a view to expandingcooperation with Hanoi University of Pharmacy.

Welcoming the delegation, for HUP side, there were MA. Pham Van Quyen - Vice Rector and Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hai Nam, President of the University Council and Representatives of Department of International Relations, Department of Analytical Chemistry and Toxicology also attended.

After the introduction and discussion both sides in the meeting laid the​foundation for cooperation, the counterpart revealed the policy of the Taiwan Government favorable towards the South countries  and the direction of cooperation of Changhua Christina Hospital and Van Thuong Group with Hanoi University of Pharmacy aiming at: (1) Signing a framework MOU on co-operating desire of 3 related parties; (2) Desiring to coordinate in building a health eco-system, including a chain of private hospitals, and contents related to the pharmacy segment: research and development of herbal medicines, herbal care, especially in coordinating the construction of a drug development center / research room. Depending on the nature of each proposed content of cooperation (ODA, PPP, BTC cooperation, research service contract ....), the parties will coordinate in developing proposals, submitting for approval and comply with current regulations of Vietnam and Taiwan.

At the end of the working visit, Mr. Tien Min Chan, Vice Chairman of Changhua Christina Hospital, on behalf of the delegation, thanked for warm welcome from Hanoi University of Pharmacy and hoped that the two sides would expand the types of cooperation in the near future.
