International Summer Programme at Oxford Brookes University

If students would like the opportunity to spend a few weeks of the summer living in one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the world, improving their English language skills and making friends from around the world, International Summer Programme in August is for you.

The course will improve their confidence in using English skills for travel or social reasons. Students will develop your speaking and listening skills including their grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

There are two English language options on offer:

General English
2 weeks - 4 to 15 August 2014
4 weeks - 4 to 29 August 2014

Accommodation

Students can choose to stay in the university's hall of residence throughout their stay. This means students are only a few minutes walk away from classes.

Social programme

Full social programme will ensure the stay is enjoyable as well as academically and culturally rewarding. Students can explore the city centre of Oxford with it's historic buildings and beautiful landscape. Sports tournaments, visits to open-air performances of Shakespeare and day trips to London and other attractions will be provided.

Welfare and support

A team of staff to support students during their stay and in the accommodation (there are also staff available 24 hours a day to help with non-course related enquiries).
