  • NPU online summer program 2020 31/07/2020

    NPU has hosted a summer program with students from partner schools (HUP is partner since 2019) in previous years. However, this year, due to the problem of the new coronavirus infection, NPU have decided to hold the summer program online instead.

    There are three programs as the followings: 

    Program 1:  Introduction of NPU

            24 Aug (Mon) Japan time

           Tuition : Free

    Program 2: Japanese Language & Culture

           25 Aug (Tue) Japan time

           Tuition : 1,000 JPY

    Program 3: Japanese Healthcare System

          26 & 27 Aug  (Wed, Thr) Japan time

          Tuition : 3,000 JPY

    Please send back the attached application form with the information of participating students until 15 Aug if you are interested in.

  • Application for KU Short-term Exchange Programs 2020-2021 02/10/2019

    Kanazawa University is glad to inform  Kanazawa University Short-term Exchange Program (2020-2021) and the application forms for the Kanazawa University Exchange Program (KUEP).​

  • Newton Fund Research Environment Links call for application - Deadline 12 August 19/06/2019

    Newton Fund Research Environment Links (REL) is calling for application. REL grants are designed to provide financial support for capacity building activities proposed by applicant institutions in Vietnam working with partner organisations in the UK. The proposed activities are designed by the Lead Applicant in Vietnam with the support of a UK partner organisation.

    This programme can be funded in any discipline or cross-discipline and there are no limits in terms of the type of activities that can be delivered, as long as these respond to country needs.Size of grant is up to £150,000 for up to 12 months.

    Eligibility criteria

    • Each proposal must have one Lead Applicant from Vietnam and one Lead Applicant from the UK.
    • All Principal Applicants must be Leading Researchers or Established Researchers as defined by the European Commission here.

  • Kanazawa University- Short-Term Exchange Programs 18/06/2019

    Kanazawa University​ has decided to renew the organization of the current short-term exchange programs. 
    Starting the academic year 2020-2021, Programs A, C, D and E will be inte-grated into one big short-term exchange program, while Program B will remain as it is. This change is intended to provide your students with more flexibility in selecting courses based on their individual study-abroad objective as well as a simplified ap-plication procedure.

  • GCRF call for outline research proposals: "Adolescent Health". Deadline: 9 July 07/06/2019

    Under the UK’s GCRF, the UK Medical Research Council is calling for outline proposals to conduct research to improve adolescent health in low and middle income countries. As noted by the funder, “Applications are particularly encouraged from principal investigators based at LMIC research organizations.” Please click here for call information.

    This call will support internationally competitive, applied research projects addressing adolescent health in LMICs. Interdisciplinary proposals (e.g. including social perspectives) will be particularly encouraged that address the most pressing health needs of adolescents in LMICs. Although not being limited to these areas, this call particularly welcomes proposals addressing the following topics:

    ·         Research in conflict-affected and fragile states

    ·         Road traffic and other injuries

    ·         Prevention of interpersonal violence

    ·         Self-harm (including suicide)

    ·         Lower respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia

    ·         Prevention and treatment of substance use (alcohol, tobacco and other drugs)

    ·         Future NCD risk factors (raised blood pressure, raised blood glucose, obesity and smoking)

    ·         Nutrition, diet and physical activity

    ·         Disabilities - both mental, intellectual, and physical

    ·         The transition out of adolescence into adulthood

    ·         The transition for those in the healthcare system to being looked after by adult services

    ·         Research addressing social (and commercial) determinants of health.

    Basic research relevant to adolescent health, for instance, basic, etiological, and epidemiological research is not eligible for this call for proposals unless it forms part of a broader applied research project exploring solutions to problems faced by adolescents.

  • 2019 Taiwan Experience Education Program at Taipei Medical University 16/04/2019

    Taipei Medical University is offering a professional internship program for international students who would like to broaden their learning horizons.

    Program fee: TEEP@TMU is an unpaid internship program, participants are responsible for their travel, visa and local living expenses; however, participants may receive merit-based subsidies that vary by subprogram and funding resources.

    The application will be forwarded to the PI of applicants' intended program for screening after receiving online application form, and the PI will decide to accept the applicants and provide a living subsidy or not.

    The duration of the internship: 2 to 6 months

    * Ph.D. students are not eligible for applying TEEP program

  • Vietnam UK Higher Education Partnership - Call for expression of interest 2019 28/02/2019

    In 2019, the British Council in Vietnam is allocating partnership funding support ranging from £15,000 to £20,000 per partnership project to support collaborative partnerships between the UK and Vietnam through the UK–Vietnam Higher Education Partnership (UK–VN HEP) initiative.
